If you're here, you must be bored.
Why do I almost always feel nauseous after a tough work-out?

I’ve been eating earlier and earlier to avoid this. I stay hydrated. I just want to throw up and die right now.

What is the deal?

It was workout Wednesday…

Half hour on the eliptical, then an hour and fifteen minutes of yoga.

I’m still sore from my trainer on Tuesday!

But I gotta keep on!!!!

however, this post is queued, because I am sleeping in!

First session with my personal trainer…

… aaaand I got like 4 and a half hours of sleep. SUPER!

Haha. I’ll still kick my own ass though, if there’s any left to kick after he gets through.

Yay!
  • Starting to feel better
  • Got in touch with my personal trainer yesterday and I am going to let him know how I feel tomorrow and we will set up a session then!
  • Calling my guitar teacher today to arrange my very first official guitar lesson!
  • Wine Night for New Years in Hoboken! Cheap and already provided with a place to stay!
  • Rich and I FINALLY beat Portal 2 co-op.
  • I haven’t had regular tv in my room in a very very long time. Yesterday we got those new fangled “boxes” (thatswhatshesaid) and I have tv!
  • Got a “new-to-me” tv. A hand-me-down from my brother (who got it from my mother) it’s like a billion times bigger. I can actually read subtitles on the screen!
  • Umm, my room is like, clean!
  • Made a comic book store trek yesterday and picked up the first book of “Fables”. Hope it’s awesome!
  • After New Years hang-out planned with Ellie where we will watch and laugh at the new Twilight movie, and I will most likely sneak booze into the theater because I am classy as fuck. Then we are going to hang at Van Gogh’s Ear, sip Chai lattes, talk about her ridiculously awesome new job, while I scour the earth for one myself!
  • Speaking of Chai, I had a delicious one from Starbucks today and the woman in front of me had a voice that made me and my brother have a giggle fest.
  • Fingers crossed I’m going to see some boat friends who are in town, from Portland, Oregon!
  • I finally finished the part in Arkham Asylum where you are in Killer Croc’s lair… heart attack over.

BOOM! Life!

All healthy and stuff
  • I’m learning yoga. It’s costing me a pretty penny but I think it’s pretty great.
  • I am trying to take walks more. I find them more enjoyable with friends. Anyone wanna take a pleasant stroll?
  • Water
  • When no one is looking, I’m going to start jogging … or yogging.
  • One hike planned for this saturday! Hopefully more to follow.
  • Trying so hard to be more conscious of what I eat.
  • Vitamins
  • Water
  • When I get money/a job again, I am saving and splurging on a personal trainer and a good gym with classes. This will be for when the weather starts turning to crap and I can’t do much outside anymore.
  • Always be moving so I’m not lazy and eating due to boredom.
  • Water
  • 24 hours of not smoking … this might be the hardest part

I have lost 40 pounds and 2 pant sizes. I don’t want to quit now and I don’t want to backslide. For me this isn’t JUST a weight thing anymore. It isn’t praying the scale shows a lower number then last time. It’s about feeling energized. Being healthy. Being confident.

It’s about looking good naked damnit!
